I was on this like soul mate kick for the past three years of my life...I couldn't take it anymore...I wanted my soulmate to find me now, and I was angry because everyone else seemed to be finding their happily-ever-afters whether that be alone or married, and I kept coming up with zero...It was very frustrating.This book found me at the library one rainy day here in baltimore, md. I read this book and enjoyed it. I did the recommended affirmations and also created the Love Mandala referenced inside. I returned the book to the library thinking it was a decent read and originally gave it 3 stars....4 months after creating the mandala, a small 'vision board' area, and posting affirmations around the mandala on my dresser mirror, someone who fit my exact desires appeared in my life! It is as if she is reading what is on my mind and speaking it word for word! I will read this book over and over. I love her ideas and the way she writes. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I believe in soulmates, and I believe in the law of attraction.
This book gave an interesting take on preparing to have a soulmate in your life.
If you are interested in such things, you will find it to be enlightening and enjoyable reading.

There were some good tips at the beginning of this book. I believe in the Law of Attraction and this book goes into that area. The author gave examples of internal dialogue that we may be sending out to the Universe that has caused confusion or stoppage. Just finished this book and it was okay. I do like the thought that the one is out there looking for me as I am looking to him. It also gave me a different way to think of the qualities I am looking of in my life partner. 'A Love Letter from God' is the redeeming chapter of this book.

Lovely writing to daydream to but I am not sure if it works in reality but it's nice to think of this book as a long form poetry.

Another book I feel embarrassed about having read, but I did read it. The whole thing. It followed the 'theory/anecdote/exercise' formula and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, and how useful I found it. I am deeply suspicious of 'sit quietly and imagine a warm light' instructions, but I had a crack and maybe found a bit of clarity.

It was good to help with principles of vision for your life. But if you are a Christian, these are some basic guide lines you probably already practice in your faith. I think it's great that there are some other alternatives explored, but it still left me a bit confused as to how to manifest love. A Law of Attraction book. The practical focuses on Feng Shui and being open. Fifty percent of the book is just other couple's synchronicity stories. It does have some exercises and visualization (or feelization as the book calls it) that you can try.

I am so pleased to say I interviewed Arielle Ford for my book. She greatly added to the beginning part of the book on what to do to prepare for the relationship of your dreams.
In The Soulmate Secret, Ms. Ford discusses how to bring the person you want into your life by engaging the Law of Attraction. The way it works is that the Universe will bring you those things upon which you focus your attention.

When I first started reading this book I was quite skeptical on what it would say. However, after reading it I realized it is very good at depicting the kind of mindset you need to have when it comes to wanting love and finding the right person in your life. I dont' really know why I listened to this audiobook. :|
I find the whole manifesting thing kind of hokey, and I'm amazed that people believe in it the way they do, but this book is still filled with adorable stories of people finding their partners, and, I don't know, I'm such a sap that I find that sort of thing just heartwarming.
It was a pleasant enough way to spend a few hours while driving around between three different courthouses, which is literally all I did the day I listened to it. Hah....more

I've been reading a lot about twin souls/twin flamess in the last year. While Arielle uses the word 'soulmate', in essence she is speaking about the same thing. Her meditations and exercises are both practical and inspiring.
